CD Reviews

Nice Mixtape from RAE - 4.5 stars
G$ | B-More, MD | 08/08/2006
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Da Chef is back with a brand new mixtape for his fans who have been waiting for something new from Rae for the past 3+ years. With 19 songs/freestyles you get some of Rae to hold you over til he finally drops the long awaited "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... 2". Of the 19, about half dozen are 16 bar freestyles, guests rap songs on 4 and do the hook on 2 songs, and 3 of the songs on here are from other albums. Of the 19, 1 is a classic, 2 are near classic material, 5 are ok, the rest are good, a few are real good. A nice Wu album to add to the collection you should already have!

"This mixtape has no flaws... It has everything you want from Rae, sick verses (especially the Rakim Trib.) & ill production. I loved this all the way through and if you are a wu tang head you need to get on this. A++"
Raekwon is Here to Save Hip Hop!!!

"Raekwon's newest Mixtape is straight fire and is earning classic status among all the wise sages of hip hop. The god is dropping knowledge over some serious heated beats! With so much wackness in the hip hop game today, it's refreshing to see Masta Killa, Ghostface, and Raekwon bringing real hup hop back and getting NY back on top! I can't wait for Only Built for Cuban Links 2!"
