"I own all of Mr. Hayroudinoff's recordings, but this one is clearly his best. The performance is first-rate and the recording quality is superb.

I'm not the only one who feels this way, apparently. BBC Music Magazine chose this disc as its January "Recording of the Month." And my latest issue of Gramophone says "This is powerful Rachmaninov playing that transcends the artificial constraints of the recording studio."
