Prophet Omega is Joe Magistro, Brooklyn-based rock drummer, who started playing around with loops and samples that caught friends and fans attention. At first his voice reminded me a bit of Tom Meighan from Kasabian with Tom Petty, but nasally and static (usually in same key). "The Right Thing", "Party Time People" and "Soul Control" are upbeat and catchy. Some sultry songs like "Drinking Champagne Alone" have a soft groove to it. Nice. The Natural World is crazy good! It is funky, catchy, and electric. CLEAN Recommend: 1, 2, 3, 6, 11, 12, 4, 5" |
