Synopsis

Album Description
Limited digitally remastered two CD digipak edition of the Metal band's 2001 album pressed on gold discs. Pissing Razors originally formed in the late '80s. They are musically comparable to local heroes Pantera, plus Skinlab and Machine Head; in other words, angst-filled, shouted vocals are merged with meaty guitar riffs for a sound that's custom-made for the mosh pit. Where We Come From was the bands fifth full length album. The album is heavy and filled with memorable choruses, throat shredding vocals, and a wall of thick riffs. This is their strongest release, but yet, none of their albums are weak. The album is far more diverse then the their previous releases. Metal Mind. 2009.

"Pissing Razors could never be accused of pomposity... Where We Come From is nonstop groove. Heavy as a ton of bricks, and filled with (somewhat) memorable choruses, throat shredding vocals, and a wall of thick riffs. Fellow Texans Pantera are the most frequent reference point. I disagree... PR reminds me of old Machine and Sepultura circa Chaos AD. Not many solos, but enough fat bottom end to bludgeon your brain sufficiently. Solid post thrash recommended for fans of the style!"

"This is by far the Razors best record! This album has far more diversity then the their previous releases hitting you in the face from all angles! Don't get me wrong though all their albums are KILLA! But "Where we come From" proves once again that "Pissing Razors" are true heavy weights of the underground metal scene! If you have seen this band live then you know how tight & techinical they are, but they truly take it to a even higher level this time around. So support "TRUE METAL" & get a record that doesn't have lame samples or people wearing masks trying to be scary! LONG-LIVE-THE RAZORS!"

"Bands like Pissing Razors and Skinlab are what real metal is all about. This is their strongest release, but yet, none of their albums are weak."
