"Years ago I owned a copy of Wish You Were Here on a 1/2 speed mastered Sony LP. I am not a vinyl purist but none of the CD copies I owned could compare to that vinyl copy. I saw this import being offered as a pre-order on October 7, 2007. Excited it may be a remastered CD I jumped at the chance to own a Japanese Import. No details were given and I hope this review helps.

"Perhaps Lightening Bug was disappointed that this release is not the 30th Anniversary Super Audio version the fans have been waiting for? I'd like to hear this CD remastered for Dolby 5.1 too, but the long promised release has been slow to materialize."
