CD Reviews

A musical masterwork has arrived on CD
Herbivore | Berlin | 05/16/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Finally! Think what you will about Erich v. Däniken's books and his ideas of alien astronauts visiting planet Earth in prehistoric times, think what you will about the German-made 'documentries' hitting US television and Grindhouses in the 70s, this music for the first of the films is just about one of the most dynamic and fascinating European symphonic/pop/jazz/lounge scores of that era. If you like groovy European film music by masters like Morricone or Cipriani this is right down your alley. Put on headphones and fly to this breathtaking mix of grand melodies, avantgarde orchestrations, rare grooves and Exotica, all put together by the man who brought you the music for "Space Patrol" and the German Edgar Wallace thrillers. If you own the old LP, throw it away, because this reissue includes 10 unreleased bonus tracks from the film and has been carefully remastered from the original tapes."
Thanks GODS and Congratulations !!!

"Thanks to all ancient Gods all over the world, we have the 2nd edition of this masterpiece. The whole soundtrack with the beautiful music score composed for this classic documentary about UFO and archaeology.

Who can forget the images, the text and the music of the film, since 1970 ?

The first edition for this CD is so hard to find but it exists, made in Germany in 1998 as "Erinnerungen an die Zukunft". Maybe we can get it only as an used-CD with about 18 tracks and more difficult to find is the LP vinyl edition made in 1970.

Now, this new CD has 29 tracks and the front cover is so original and so suggestive.

I suppose that not only we the fans but also Mr. Peter Thomas and of course, Mr.E. von Daniken are so glad for having this product here in our hands.

Congratulations to all people who finally made possible the acquisition of this CD.

Don't miss it, enjoy the music and the film (also available on DVD)!!."
