This CD is a must for world music/jazz lovers!

"Peter Apfelbaum does an amazing job of combining world music with traditional american jazz. The result is a wonderfully balanced CD of an ensemble with a great groove and even better musicianship. "The World is Gifted" is one of my favorite songs (and the only real vocal tune on the disc) from anywhere because of the combination of groove and inprovisation. The instrumentation is truly unique as is the sound of the orchestra. For those of you who are wary of the avant-garde this may not be for you, but the arrangements are such that it may be a great intro to this style of music."
