Lite AOR With Solid Musicianship

"Peabo Bryson's Take No Prisoners is a very solid AOR CD. Most of the songs sounded like they would be movie soundtracks of the 80's. He enlisted guitarist Dann Huff (Giant), drummer Lenny Castro (Toto) and session singer Tommy Funderburk to add to the listening experience. A good mixture of up-tempo and ballads keeps this CD flowing well. All in all though I would not consider it a classic. It is close but it needs a little extra to get there. Definitely one of Peabo's best if you can find it."
