CD Reviews

What a voice!

"Amazing! The Irish tenor's voice lends itself well to this collection of Christmas favorites. Most notably - Joni Mitchell's The River and Cliff Richards' Saviour's Day are interpreted with great effect and are the highlights of this seasonal delight. His duet on Silent Night with his young self as a boy soprano is charming. If you are fighting the winter blues, do yourself a favor and get this CD and feel the cheer of the season. If you are a Celtic Thunder fan, you probably already own this but if not, buy it now!"

"I purchased this CD by Paul Byrom over a year ago and listen to it all during the year. He has a beautiful well trained voice and does a wonderful job on this CD. One song is sung by him and the background is him singing as a young boy. I have been a fan of Paul's since Celtic Thunder started (he's part of that group) but this has nothing to do with his Celtic music. This is just great Christmas songs and he is fantastic. I'd love to bring Paul to my home for Christmas so he could sing all these songs personally."

"I am a great fan of Paul's and the entire Celtic Thunder group. I couldn't wait to get this Christmas CD once I heard he had recorded it. It is a fantastic blend of traditional music and some songs I had never heard before. I was really blown away by the recording of Silent Night which he sings with himself as a boy soprano. That is really incredible. This CD is a wonderful addition to my Christmas CDs and I may have to listen to it all year round."
