"This is Patti Page at her best. The voice has mellowed over the years from the first hit in 1948 til these recordings were made for Columbia between 1963 and 1970. Every song is a treasure. For those who have followed Patti's career on the charts, the inclusion of two of her 60s hits is a highlight:
SAY WONDERFUL THINGS, a hit worldwide for Patti in 1963 and the 1965 YOU CAN'T BE TRUE, DEAR. Patti's recording of ALL THE WAY ranks with many music fans as the premiere recording of this song (we haven't forgotten Frank Sinatra's great 50's hit recording either).
If you are unfamiliar with these Page classics but enjoy her smooth heartfelt vocals or were a fan of her 50s hits or enjoy her new millenium recordings, give this economy priced cd a listen. You'll be pleasantly pleased."
