CD Reviews

This is for "An Ephemereal World", not even on sale here!

"Wow!! First, I must say this review is for another Rondat's CD which is not Rape of the Earth.

The CD "An Ephemereal World" (recorded and released in 2004) is not even on Amazon's catalog. What a crime!!!!

I strongly believe that I should mention this CD is one of the most incredible rock instrumental music I've ever heard (and I have over 2000 CDs). Once again, drummer Dirk Bruinenberg plays beyond belief. Bass player Patrice Guers is awesome. And, as expected, Patrick Rondat is simply amazing. I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, but Dream Theater or other bands of 'the genre' could only dream they could play something as amazing as this. This is pushing the envelop to the very limit in terms of musical dexterity and beauty. Get it while you can. Hat's off to Rondat, Guers and drum maestro Bruinenberg!!"
Phenomenal Guitar Virtuosity!!!

"I just recently bought Patrick Rondat's remastered release of 'Rape of the Earth' cd and I was absolutely blown-away. This is the first time I've heard of this guitarist and this cd certainly took me back and very reminiscent to Vinnie Moore's 'Mind's Eye' cd. Every composition on this cd is superlative with a very tight group backing up Patrick. After one listen and I have to truly say that this has to be one of the greatest guitar virtuoso albums I have ever heard. Extremely recommended for all who want to hear the very best in shredding, electric guitar virtuosity. I'd give it '10' stars if I could, but '5' is the maximum on these reviews."
