"Owen Lee's accomplishments in the professional bass world are well-known: Principal Bass of the Cincinnati Symphony, winning an ISB solo competition, playing chamber music at Marlboro, et al. But if you haven't heard him *personally* - get this CD immediately. His Bach Suite No. 3 is in my opinion the best bass rendition on the market today. The warm sonorous tone he pulls across the entire range of the bass is wonderfully matched by a full, rich vibrato. But what I especially enjoyed was his moving, yet unpretentious interpretations of both Bach Suites. Absolutely first class all the way."
