When the package arrived there was a promo copy of a CD by a band called the Orphans. Later that night I put in the disc at a low volume, and by the fourth track I had it cranked up to 21.This is an album for people who like music like Teengenerate and the Stitches. There's a lot of tape saturation and the vocals seem to fly over what the mics can handle. The vocalist has a very unique way of delivering her lines (demonstrated in the song "Death Of the Subject").Favorite tracks:"Famous" "Death Of the Subject" "Wanting It All" "Plans For My Funeral" "Falling Down"and especially "Creature Double Feature."I recommend this album by the Orphans to fans of Teengenerate, Smogtown, the Stitches, Le Shok, Dangerhouse/Posh Boy bands and others along those lines. I'm very grateful I got to hear this release on Unity Squad Records, and have been playing since consistently since early April 2004." Great punk rock!
