CD ReviewsAbsolutely adorable efrex | New York, NY USA | 12/28/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "A sweet, simple romantic comedy... remember when musicals used to be that way? This may not be the most brilliant or sophisticated score ever written, and it owes heavily to Fiddler on the Roof, but it is still a delight. Well-produced, with good liner notes for those of us who haven't seen the show, this album is an excellent recording of a show which I suspect will become a small-theater staple for many years. Jennifer Rosin's Carolina is a particular standout, but the entire cast sounds wonderful. Hopefully, we will hear more from the Crystal/Engquist songwriting team."
