Synopsis

Album Description
One Drop & BSI present the debut full-length from Onry Ozzborn - the first solo LP from the Oldominion crew, and the first release on One Drop, BSI's new hip hop imprint. Fresh from his heavy-charting Venom EP and national tour with Oldominion, Swollen Members, The Micranots & Anticon, Onry brings 17 tracks of dark underground hip hop of a fierce but spiritual cast. On Alone, Onry is anything but. The album features exclusive tracks with some of independent hip hop's sickest sons & daughters, including Dose One & Alias (of Anticon), N8 The Gr8 (of The Cuf), Destro (aka Dialog of Boom Bap), and members of Oldominion. Onry's style will have your head spinning, nodding, cracking and back again. Never sleep... Onry's style is at once subterranean-dark and relentlessly positive. His flows emerge from deep within, manifesting lyrics that veer from dense spiritual explorations to abstract cascades to unblinking battle rhymes. In the current landscape of sound-alike MCs and tired "Old School" revivalism, Onry comes with a devastatingly fresh and absolutely unique style & vision.

"After reading about this guy and his crew old dominion, I finally got the chance to check them out on tour in Austin, Tx.The live set was energetic and even a little intimidating. I bought this album at the show and have no plans of taking it out of the old CD changer.4 mic album in my book.Think Def Jux/anticon with a healthy dose of Wu-Tang/Boot Camp Click for good measure.Very artistic without really losing any street cred."
