Good Budget Choice

"This low-priced CD offers a representative selection of Ike & Tina's 1970's work, both original hits like Nutbush and covers like Proud Mary & Philadelphia Freedom. Purists and collectors should be warned that the version of River Deep Mountain High featured here is not the version produced by Phil Spector, but a later Ike-produced remake. In the wake of Tina Turner's deserved success as a solo artist, Ike's work has been somewhat overlooked. He is a great R&B-Boogie-Funk guitarist and bandleader. The song, Nutbush City Limits, features one of the great nasty guitar riffs, now part of the basic repertoire."
Cheap compilation under the title of original LP

"In 1974.Ike and Tina Turner recorded their last great LP titled "Nutbush City Limits",based around Tina's fictional childhood memories and graced with beautiful art cover. This CD is shameless compilation of their work from different years,LP's and sources - nothing close to original LP,the only thing they have in common is the title."
