A definitive collection of classical guitar music

"Ruiz is outstanding on this collection, his technique flawless; his tone beautiful; his selection traditional. What stands out most about the playing on this album, however, is the interpretation: that golden, life-giving interpretation which Ruiz brings to every piece. The listener will name several of the pieces from this recording as "definitive". There is real emotion in this CD, and it by far surpasses those stale mechanical exercises or sloppy elevator music collections which seem to fill the classical guitar selections recently available.Ruiz is a true and undiscovered master. Do not hesitate to purchase this CD."
