CD ReviewsNice! Steve | (from Bozeman) | 01/03/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "Nikhil Banerjee is believed by many to be the greatest sitar player to have ever lived. This CD presents a performance from 1976 featuring Nikhil and tabla wizard Zakir Hussain. An alap and gat in Rag Sindhura is followed by a gat and teentaal in Rag Bhoop-Kalyan. A fine performance, but the somewhat less than clean recording quality forces me to rank this CD overall with only 5 out of 5 stars. Get Nikhil and Zakir's recording of Rag Shyam Kedar, also from Chhanda Dhara, first - it gets 10 out of 5 stars!"
