"This band features guys who had played with 60's trailblazers such as Silver, Mingus, Blakey, and Cannonball creating vibrant and energetic music of their own in Ford-era New York City. Cliff Jordan jois the trio on a few numbers and possesses a powerful sound. In my humble opinion, this band is the best quartet that assembled to play straight ahead jazz in the 1970's in the States. For a low price, 32 Jazz gives them to you live and uncut."
