"Most people expect original cast recordings of musicals to come out of New York or London. Occasionally there are other locations, such as Goodspeed Opera House or Paper Mill Playhouse. But Elmira, New York?

Great care has been given to this recording, with production values, orchestra and soloists all of first class quality. While the subject matter or story may not be a Broadway blockbuster, MR. MARK TWAIN is an excellent musical from every aspect. It is quite entertaining and the recording is a good value for the money."
