"The cd is of exceptional quality! I was delighted to see this on sale at Amazon! I purchased this cd from Carol Wincenc when I attended her flute masterclass in Breckenridge (summer of 1998 I believe). You must own this cd. If you love Mozart-- If you love listening to the most beautiful flute playing on earth accompanied by inspired string players-- If you want to go on a fulfilling musical and emotional journey----> You must buy this cd! Once the cd finishes, I usually hit the "play" button again for another go.



I got to hear Carol Wincenc (Julliard professor) play some of the quartets live while she was teaching a group of us. The cd brings back those wonderful memories, and she sounds marvelous. She is, without a doubt, my favorite flute player. Her technique is unrivaled. Her interpretation is uplifting, and her tone is gorgeous. Her flute sings. I hope you hear this for yourself! And I hope Amazon starts selling her Naumburg cd--- which is also her favorite recording of herself."
