A mixed bag of favourites

"This collection offers most for the person who needs to possess a musical moment associated with a particular favourite movie. In my case, it was primarily the song associated with "Diva", La Wally but there were many others. And I have come to enjoy the selections I did not know before.
It doesn't do too well if you wish a classical selection to simply listen to at one stretch: the mixed styles and speeds don't support such a listening. Try following the theme to "Raging Bull" with "The Barber of Seville" for example!
I gave this collection a high score because it really does fill many gaps in my collection for tracks I associate with favourite movies, but for which I do not require the entire source music. One major dissapointment though is that the version here of Wagner's " The Ride of the Valkyries" does not include the choral vocal which gave that sequence in "Apocalypse Now" such vigour, menace and force."
