CD Reviews

Mountain Mirrors - 'Lunar Ecstasy'
Mike Reed | USA | 06/08/2004
(3 out of 5 stars)

"Actually,I wanted to give it a 3 1/2 star rating.Mountain Mirrors gives you nine tracks of their own brand of what I would describe as 'inventive psych with a progressive edge' to it.Favorite cuts would be "A Short Burst Of Clarity","Your Sacred Space" and "Rain".The vocals are so-so but the playing is the band's best thing they have going for them.Poets, late nighters and obscure music fans will probably enjoy this CD best.Check it out when you have a chance."
Lunar Ecstasy is mind blowing!
Robert Baysinger | USA | 02/24/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a beauty of an album, of what Jeff likes to call Zen Rock. There is folk, instrumental, rock and so on contained here. I have not stopped listening to it since I got it in December. I play it at least once a day. Favorite songs. Short Burst of Clarity, Lunar Ecstasy, Apparition, Where the Green Meets the Blue, the hauntingly beautiful Afterlife, Last Resort and Agent Orange. But believe me, you will definately want to spin this cd from start to finish. Also check out my review at www.hellridemusic.com ."
