"Morris Day's best solo effort! PERIOD! This is a reunion of sorts with "The Time", due to the fact that former members of The Time Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis produced 2 tracks on the album, one of them being Day's best solo song in "Fishnet". Overall this album gives you the feel of the MORRIS DAY EFFECT!!"

"the entire album is nice, but the reason i really bought the album was the soundtrack "a man's pride". the piano solo at the end of the song was unbelievable!!!! the artist who played the piano piece on this track evidently wanted his listening audience to understand or empathize w/ the raw emotion in this song."
