Monya Parker Grant is a native of Columbia, South Carolina, a faithful member of Ecclesia Church of God in Christ under the Spiritual leadership of Pastor Luther H. Holmes, Jr. and Lady Valerie Holmes. Called by God to win souls, Monya accepted her call to the Ministry in 1998 and is a licensed Evangelist with the Church of God in Christ. Never despising humble beginnings, Monya started out in ministry as a faithful servant and continues doing whatever is needed to support the local body of Christ. She s been found faithful over a few things and over the years she has been given the responsibilities of and served as Minister of Music, Praise and Worship Leader, Women s Choir Director, Youth Choir Director, Bible Study Teacher (Adult and Youth) and Chairman of the Finance Department. Monya, a humble servant, is committed to God, for it is truly in Him that she lives and moves and has her very existence... Inspired by the whole counsel of God, Monya ministers and exhorts others to, above all else, SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL OTHER THINGS WILL BE ADDED UNTO YOU! In Early Fall of 2007, Monya was led to a time of consecration, prayer and fasting. If one were to put an all points bulletin out, you would have found her on the altar, praying and laying prostrate before the Lord, worshiping Him, adoring him, listening to Him... which led her to a place where God has called her to yet another level of Ministry. So it is, in her obedience to God that she has given birth to an anointed CD project, entitled Arise , delivered directly from the throne room of God. God has ordained songs that Minister the Kingdom of God which is Joy, Peace and Righteousness in the Holy Ghost! This music ministry project was released on June 20, 2009 with a Celebration and Listening Party and a subsequent Concert on August 8, 2009 in Columbia, SC. Since that time, God has opened many doors and Monya has been the featured artist at several community events and has ministered to many through a new vision entitled, Monya s Friends . This vision is an extension of the music ministry project in that it allows those who love the CD to host their very own listening party. These proclamations of praise and worship commands it s listeners to Arise to that ordained place of Authority in Jesus Christ with those who we have relationships with. As she is obedient to do what God has anointed and appointed her to do...it is always her most sincere and purest desire that people everywhere see God not Monya, for she is truly AN ANOINTED VESSEL READY TO BE USED OF GOD...
