Synopsis

Album Description
The Providence, Rhode Island-based Action rock group Monty Are I returns to the front line with the appropriately titled new album, BREAK THROUGH THE SILENCE, scheduled to arrive September 22nd on Island Records. BREAK THROUGH THE SILENCE is the long-awaited follow-up to Monty Are I's debut album Wall Of People, released August 2006. Their upcoming sophomore release is produced by Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, Boys Like Girls, 3oh3!) and Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Good Charlotte). Monty Are I - comprised of Steve Aiello (vocals, lead guitar), Mike Matarese (bass), Andrew Borstein (keyboards, synthesizer, trombone, sequencing), and identical twins Justin (drums) and Ryan Muir (vocals, trumpet, guitar) - arrived at the Island Def Jam Music Group in 2006, with three Vans Warped Tours under their belt. They've toured nonstop with bands including My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Saving Abel and more! In addition, Monty Are I's "The Legacy" was also featured in Xbox/PS2 games; ATV, Offroad Fury 4 and Tony Hawk's Project 8.

CD Reviews

Break Through The Silence is amazing!

"So I have been anticipating a new MAI CD for a long time now and they did not let me down! The album is amazing from start to finish..The songs are classic MAI style but each song has a different feel of awesomeness. I loved Wall Of People first hearing it after I heard "In this Legacy" while playing ATV Offroad Fury 4..Before I bought his album, I listened to the singles on their Purevolume.com page for days and now Im absolutely estatic to have the whole album! Anyone who doesnt know MAI needs to listen to this and realize how talented and amazing this band is!
