CD Reviews

AWESOME TUNE

"This is the best song so far for the year 2000! The vocal version is perfect--gorgeous vocals over nice instruments. The rap versions with it's extended "China" intro totally rocks! A nice remix with more "Chinese" vocals is awesome. Go out and get this maxi-single if you don't have it already. I can't wait for the new 9th album due out on 28 Feb 2000."

"It's all here: great production, great vocals, so-so lyrics. Anders keeps it light and soft, making the song less pronounced than previous singles. Still, the overall effect works, and the song moves along nicely. The remix borders on the repetitious, and the rap versions are nothing new, though Singleton has his job down pat, and mixes well with Anders and the chorus. As usual, Bohlen has put together well-produced song, yet he once again laces it with mediocre lyrics. Still, on the dancefloor lyrics aren't a priority."
