"...In fact I love everything they have done. In a perfect world they would have major label, international distribution. This title, plus the previous "Bicycle Theives" and "Candids" are well written, artfully arranged, and beautifully executed. Yes, comparisons (Prefab Sprout, Aztec Camera, Del Amitri, Sting...)are useful, but only to place them within a genre, as they don't sound like anyone else. When's the last time you bought a cd on a whim that totally surprised you and took over your life?"

Particularly since the musicianship on display puts the average hitmaker to shame. To listen to "Slow Fade" for the first time is to make a shattering discovery. If you love brilliant, tuneful pop writing, buy this CD. Then get all your friends to buy it. This kind of perfection needs our support."
