The new full-length CD, "The Key", was produced, engineered, and mixed by (the) Shoes' Jeff Murphy (Material Issue producer, including "Valerie Loves Me") at Short Order Recorder, north of Chicago, in just two weeks, with Shupp handling guitars, bass, and vocals, and Chris Zogby on drums and percussion. The 12-song record's melodic rock/ power pop sound features rich guitar textures and pure pop melodies, and follows up 1997's "October Sun".
