For the Love of Music is the debut solo album from Mike Park. Songs about racism, ethnicity, war, and everyday life give a diary into his life and works. A portion of the proceeds (equalling 5% of the suggested retail list price) earned by the artist and Sub City Records from the sale of this title will be donated to The Plea for Peace Foundation.

"Mike Park has always done acoustic numbers on his various releases with Skankin' Pickle, Bruce Lee Band, and The Chinkees....but none of them sounded like this. The roster of bands on his label Asian Man Records must be having a huge impact on him. Very emotional, beautiful music. Not as humorous and upbeat as previous stuff. The subject matter doesn't stray far from the usual racism and society issues, but there are a few songs that seem like "relationship tunes" that are a new but pleasant face to see from Mike. Definatly worth checking out."
