CD Reviews

"A Violinist Without Fault"
Joel M. Pattinson | San Francisco, CA | 08/16/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Great live recordings; the last few have horrible quality, but they are obviously from bad master recordings that were damaged and unable to be spruced up. Those who say Rabin was a virtuoso and not a master of the music are sorely mistaken. The Volume one is also wonderful with the not-often heard 8th Beethoven and Faure Sonatas."
Can't get enough Rabin

"What a spectacular collection. Rabin's rendition of the Brahms concerto is worth the price of this entire set. I have a collection of violin music including artists such as Menuhin, Oistrakh, Stern, Kreisler, Zukerman, Perlman, Shaham, Bell and Kaplan. The one I listen to the most is Rabin, he send shivers up my spine!!!! You won't be disappointed."
