"Everyone can sit here and write about how great this CD is, what song is there favorite, and how nice these guys are in real life. The fact is, none of those are true indicators of how great this album is.
Then how do you know? Look at the band behind the music. They defy every recipe for success the music industry has put out. No offense to anyone in the band who may read this, but examine the evidence. The lead singer is a larger bald man with glasses. The band plays 100% pure Praise and Worship music. The lyrics are not dulled down at all for secular media. There's no multi-million dollar add campaign. No huge radio spots. No #1 video. Everything bands do these days, Mercy Me is not doing, and they've gone Gold. That's when you know this is a great album. And this album is.
There's two main factors driving this album that I believe make it as successful as it's already been. Musical quality, and more importantly, God. One listen to this CD clearly shows the bands heart for God. Absolutely everything is focused on Him with no intentions of anything more.
I own over 400 CD's, and this album jumped towards the top of my favorites list before the end of the first listening.
Everytime I listen to this album I get a sense that God had/has a plan for this album. Simply reading the other reviews proves this in my opinion. Look how many people are being impacted by this album, and the demographics it's reaching. If this album isn't God-inspired, I don't know what is. For this reason I say, don't just think about getting this album, get it. Don't even let the phrase, "I don't know if it's my style," enter your mind. It doesn't matter. You'll love this album, I promise."

"What an awesome album. This CD is a must have. I have two of the older albums which are great, but they don't compare to Almost there. What powerful words they speak of God's love for us. The song I Can Only Imagine and Here Am I are dynamic. It makes you truly imagine being in God's wonderful presence. With dedicated artists like Mercy Me the powerful message of God's incredible love, mercy and grace are being spread."

An awesome CD

"These guys make such nice music. The main review mentioned "I Can Only Imagine" and while that is a very good, this CD is packed with them. "Bless Me Indeed" is based on the prayer of Jabez and reminds us just how powerful our God really is. This is a must purchase for anyone who likes a variety in their music."
