"Melanie Helton is spectacular on this recording. The fact that Gordon, the composer himself, plays the piano makes this CD an absolute must. The orchestral cycle of five e.e. cummings songs is gorgeous, with luscious orchestration and soaring vocal lines. You can listen to sound samples at [...] and see for yourself."
