Justo Roteta | Los Angeles, California United States | 02/02/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "At long last available on CD, this classic 1981 release remains the late Marvin Santiago's most accomplished recording ever. Marvin was serving a prison sentence for drug-related charges at the time of this album's recording and it does (to some degree) chronicle both his feelings and his experiences while imprisoned. Needless to say, Marvin was one of the greatest and most flexible improvising salsa soneros and this wonderful CD reissue places him in the pantheon reserved for such legends as Hector Lavoe, Pete "Conde" Rodriguez, Ismael Rivera and Miguelito Valdes (among others)."
