An Uneven Effort

"This collection of summer songs occasionally hits the right note, but the selection is uneven and doesn't flow. While I LOVE K.D. Lang, the first selection just doesn't really set the mood of hot days, warm nights, sand in your toes, cool breezes, and that the way your skin tingles after a little too much sun. This collection probably falls in the Martha Greed category, and a much better collection (though still a tad uneven) is a compilation called 25 Summer Songs by Varese Sarabande Records, Inc. (available on Amazon) where there are 25 tunes for about the same price as Martha's 14. I cannot recommend this one, friends."

"Perfection...I love the soulful, fun, relaxing , gentle and just plain fun songs i found on this album. They all flow and set the perfect tone for any summertime occasion. Im 15 and loved it...our whole family enjoyed the Cd from my 65 yr old grandmother to my mom who is'nt a martha fan! Tres Bien! Wonderful.....Wish there were only more complilations as great as this one!!!!!"
