Synopsis

Album Description
Majesty were founded in 1997 by Tarek 'MS' Maghary and Udo Keppner with the clear target of giving their passion Heavy Metal expression. Majesty stands for loud and wild Heavy Metal in styles of musical paragons such as Manowar, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest or Accept. In the early summer 2000 Majesty recorded their first professional CD Keep It True, in the House of Audio Studio in Karlsdorf which hit in the press like a bomb - and at one blow Majesty became the most well-known unsigned band in Germany. At the beginning of 2003 Tarek decided to concentrate only on his singing in the future. Therefore Majesty got in Rolf Munkes one of the best German lead guitarists in the band. In spring 2005 Majesty once again entered the Roxx Studio to record their new masterpiece entitled Hellforces together with producer Stefan Kaufmann. The album offers everything one can expect from the band in total perfection. Fantastic, catchy metal-hymns which are presented with such a delightful playing that every metal fan will get crazy about it. It's already clear that Hellforces will be the glorious, immortal highlight of 2006. Massacre.

CD Reviews

Awesome power metal, this album will crush your head with it

(5 out of 5 stars)

"hello metallians, majesty are back and stronger than ever. if you are like me and love all types of power metal, may it be symphonic, or speed, or thrash, or classic old school or dark, i love it all, well except for the so called nu_metal and crud like korn. but any way i just have to say that these guys are not to be ignored. if you love catchy choruses with hook after hook and catchy as hell manical riffage then you are in luck cause this album kills. in a world where paragon or gravedigger, primal fear, rob rock, manowar, or old school helloween or leige lord or attacker reigns supreme these guy's fit perfectly in between all these bands and keep the flame alive. you could call them a blend of manowar meets hammerfall, meets dream evil. they may fit right in along side the many other hordes of exellent power metal but i still would not call them [...] they share many traits as other metal acts but there is still plenty of originallity in their music. the song i love on here is the song called(dance with the demon) this song rules. near the end there is this cool as hell section where this evil old voice is saying this wicked prayer, kind of like the middle section of metallicas enter sandman. the song sons of a new millennium is extremely catchy with a hymn like chorus and over the top crunchy pummelling guitar riffs. the guitar on this album is of an extremely talented nature. this guy plays sort of like uwe luwliss and timmo tollki combined, he can create astounding metal riffs that make you grip the steering wheel and grit your teeth one minute then calm you down and sedate you the next. however some songs are better than others but never the less this album demands attention. if you collect power metal like me then you will love the awesome beautiful digipack this album comes packaged in, also if this kind of metal pleases you then check out other acts such as. PARAGON, WOLF, VOICE,PRETTY MAIDS,PRIMAL FEAR,GAMMA RAY and HELLOWEEN. also check out acts like SILENT FORCE, CRYONIC TEMPLE, RHAPSODY, CIRITH UNGOL,INTO ETERNITY THERE ARE MANY MORE AWESOME POWER METAL ACTS I HAVE NEGLECTED TO MENTION BUT IT COULD TAKE ME WEEKS OF WRITING PS KEEP THE METAL ALIVE BRANDON WHITSON"
