Album Description

The Luminescent Orchestrii is interested in all raw folk music forms; Punk, Hip-Hop, Gypsy Music and Skanky Old Appalacian Tunes. All eaten and spit out by a band of circus, theater, classical composers and players on three violins, resophonic guitar, bullhorn harmonica and guitarron. Live music that makes people to dance, kiss and scream.

"I saw these guys for the first time at LEAF (Lake Eden Arts Festival), and was taken completely unawares. I purchased this CD, and promptly was enamored of it. High energy, high powered, frenetic music with fiddles, guitars, bass, etc; a unique mix of gypsy, punk, klezmer, funk, hip hop, tango, and whatever else they feel like throwing in.

They have a new CD out, too, which I dearly hope to own one day (not available on amazon yet, sadly)."
