"A hidden gem. Songs flow and compilment each other. A slight departure from his other albums, but after listening a few times, you pick up the nuances and their allure. Instrumentals became addicting but do not overshadow his singing. The godfather theme song "Parla Piu Piano" was very good, but the real gems was "Voce Di Strada", "Portami Tante Rose". Romantic, trumpets, mandolins and many instruments. I highly recommend this album."

"It's maddening to be a Luciano Virgili fan, finally get a Cd to replace some of your worn out recordings, only to find they've chosen the wrong recordings to transfer. Virgili has suffered enormously from transferrals to discs. The brassy, noisy, intrusive accompaniment on this and other CDs currently available detracts from his beautiful voice. There are better recordings, but why they haven't decided to transfer those, I just don't understand. For me, the discs currently available are unlistenable."
