"This cd of hard-core Christian worship music was most definitely NOT what I was expecting. I LOVE Lou's previous solo outings and was curious to see what this cd was all about--The last time I saw him perform was about 12 years ago and his voice, God love him, was completely trashed. The audience took over most of the vocal duties making the whole show oddly touching; though I don't believe anyone was really disappointed just kinda felt sorry for him. Unfortunately this cd showcases the devolution of his voice. Had I not known who was singing I would never have guessed it. I have recently discovered and fallen in love with recent contemporary christian rock bands like Skillet, Kutless, Disciple, et al but this cd buries them under it's heavy, constant worship message. I do love the friends and family personnel in the band. As a casual christian rock fan I suggest a listen for the message; as a hard-core classic rock fan I see this cd mainly as a curiosity. Even Steve Perry knew when to quit."
