"Yes, it's a little pricey, but if you are looking for a single-disc collection of Lloyd Price, this is absolutely the one to get. The sound is great, it has the most comprehensive selection of his rocking tracks (except for Mailman Blues, curiously enough), the booklet is gorgeous, and the music -- it is so infectiously buoyant that it is a perfect antidote to the blues. Really. Some people may find the occasionally cheesy backing vocals on some tracks a little hard to take, but there aren't that many, and if you can get used to them the music is right in the pocket. Lloyd Price lifts the room when he sings. This is an almost perfect reissue. Amazon customers familiar with Bear Family's meticulous, high-quality reissues will know just what I mean."
