"I've got to throw in here and say this album is a doosy. These guys cheer me up in my darkest moments of despair, while doing dishes, dusting bookshelves, and what not. It makes me want to put on a tight, old t-shirt and converse shoes and drive around town in a chop-top Datsun B210 with big Elton John glasses. If I had a Datsun B210, I'd never get any cleaning done. Lincoln! Emancipate yourself."

"Comparing Lincoln to They Might Be Giants is probably unfair; I think the only similarity is the lead singer's voice. Don't pass this band up just because you aren't a fan of TMBG.The music and lyrics are very honest, thoughtful, and clever, covering many topics including hot rods, drug addiction, raging hormones and the joys of carpentry.I love this album. Every time I listen, I have to fight the urge to rush out and buy a copy for all of my friends. Every song here describes somebody you know. I know one guy who every song applies to. He definitely gets a copy.Spread the word."

"This is one of the best cd's ever. Saw this band (yes, opening for TMBG) and fell in love with the sound - bought the disk the next day. This cd is great for driving. One listen and you're instantly a happier person. If the band is reading this - get back together and make more music!"
