Well It's About Time!

"Finally, the "Lifeline" album by Roy Ayers from the summer of 1977 is released on CD for the first time. Talk about rare and hard to find, I've been searching for this one for at least 20 years. This CD contains both the original version and the extended 12-inch version of the classic dance track "Running Away". Other great tracks include the steamy, soulful slow groove "Gotta Find A Lover", the romantic "I Still Love You" and "This Side of Sunshine", the jubilant "Sanctified Feeling" and the smooth instrumental title track "Lifeline" with Roy doing what he does best - playing 'dem vibes. Guest vocalists include Edwin Birdsong and Dee Dee Bridgewater. Every song on this CD is great!

Now if they would only release the "Fever" and "No Stranger To Love" albums on CD, I would be a very happy man indeed. Any Roy Ayers album from the '70's is awesome, and Lifeline is no exception. If you're a Roy Ayers fan, you definitely need to add this one to your collection. Check it out!"
