Those were the days, the seential liam clanncy

"I have long wondered why there were almost no Liam Clancy Cd, at least he being the primary singer on the cd. Finally, in the essential liam clancy, we have what I have been looking for. Sad to say that there is not enough. This is an exceptionally well done work, and it brought back a lot of memories of conversations I have had with liam in the past. The only flaw with this recording is that he did not include the parting glass, the ultimate closer. If you are as much a fan of I am of celtic music, you will want to add this recording to your collection."

"This set is like a fine story from one of the world's finest storytellers. It has very much the feel of Liam standing in a spotlight on stage (concertina in hand), reflecting on his career. I expected a greatest hits album, but this is so much more."
