CD Reviews

This Diamond is a Gem!!

"Diamonds are Forever is an excellent Legs Diamond cd! Rick Sanford is gone but John Levesque does a great job. After a couple of listens this cd grows on you. I love "Don't Turn Away","Will you Remember Me", "Loneliness", and the instrumental "For all we Know". The band has three original members " Michael Prince , Roger Romeo and Jeff Poole. The overall production is very good and the songs are well written. Michael Prince produced it and this limited edition is well worth the money. You can check out the band at www.legsdiamond.com. If you like good AOR Rock then buy this one. You won't be disappointed."
DON'T TURN AWAY...

"Diamonds are Forever and are scintillating in the light. Vocalist Rick Sanford is gone and replaced with John Levesque, but there is no loss in quality. The band still contains original members Jeff Poole [Drums], George Romeo [Guitars], Michael Prince [Keys/Guitar], and on bass is Adam Kury, who joined on The Wish CD. There seems to be a new vitality to the band and a slightly harder edge to the sound. It takes a little getting used to the new vocalist, with Sanford I could always say Legs Diamond, now I have to go look in the Juke Box to see who's playing that cool sounding song. Songs I have taken a fancy to are: Don't Turn Away, King of Speed, Trouble, This Time Around, Will You Remember Me, Loneliness and For All We Know. Everytime I play this disc I like more and more of it. It is extremely infectious and may lead you to wanting more Legs Diamond. The band offers many great discs and Favourites Volume 1 is an excellent place to start, unless you already know the band and then the self titled debut, Town Bad Girl, A Diamond Is A Hard Rock, or Fire Power may suit your fancy. The only disc I would be cautious with is the Wish. For some reason I never got into the Wish, It's not bad, it just doesn't have a certain feel to it like the other releases. Be prepared for different, but rock solid with Diamonds are Forever. Recommended!"
