"Laura Pausini's latest CD is a winner. This album contains fourteen solid songs that will revive her status as an international singer with worldwide appeal. "Somos Hoy," the opening song on the CD, quickly establishes the feeling that she has chosen to go back to the sounds and rhythems of one of her best selling CD's, Las Cosas Que Vives. The collection alternates between upbeat tracks like "Un Error de Los Grandes," with its driving guitar and pumping bass line, to several slower songs in the grand style, with slowly building finishes, including "Quiero Decirte" and the most emotional song of all, "Vivre." The one English language cut on the CD, "The Extra Mile," appears in the "Pokemon 2000" movie and is a traditional sentimental soundtrack song. But overall, this album is a must have for ardent fans of Laura Pausini as well as curious buyers who want to sample the international pop music scene. She co-wrote most of the lyrics on this album, which was produced in Hollywood with help from the London Chamber Orchestra on some songs. The sound quality of this CD is great with Pausini's voice coming through strong and clear. I predict that "Musica Sera" will be released as a single and you may hear it soon on Latin radio stations across the country."

"Well, here it is at last, the album I've waited for over a year, I remember when I spoke to Laura about a year ago and she told me about her new album that would come out in October she said, it was actually realeased earlier, she didn't want to tell me anything about the new songs or titles, but I rested assured it would be awesome, I had heard good things about it from her staff, now that I went to Italy to hear her sing the album, in an unplugged version, it is absolutely stunning to me, how her voice flows to the light music, I have to open my heart, mind and soul when I listen to her because she gives me so much, as I sat there infront of her and heard her sing "Entre tu y Mil Mares" the spanish version of " Tra te e il Mare " tears rolled down my face, she started out singing it very very softly with her eyes closed, her energy came right through me and then she started to sing faster to the music with her high and powerful voice, I identified myself with that song, it's about a story of when a woman is tired of waiting, hoping and beleiving, barely hanging on to a promise that has been broken thousands of times before, it's like being between the loved one and a thousand seas that is exactly the title of this new song.Then there's " La Meta De Mis Viajes" it means " The goal of my Journey " she sings it to her father, putting aside what people will say, what the press will write she opens her heart and makes it transparent singing and admitting to the fact that she learned to sing and fight, risking all and even more because of her father.Laura is the most real person I have ever met, her heart burstes with Love and compassion for others, her smile captivates everyone, she is a true friend, like the wonderful human being that she is, she writes and she sings, defenitely the goal of my journey to find myself.Well, what else can I say I can honestly write endlessly about this album but I still could not possible transmit to you what it is like , so go out buy this album wait untill you are alone, sit down and open your heart to the melody and the feeling of Laura's life!
