A dynamite and winning musical partnership.

"It was not their first collaboration but "Perfecta Combinacion" was aptly titled. The late Pete "Conde" Rodriguez' smoky, powerful and ever-soulful vocals were perfectly complimented by Johnny Pacheco's conjunto. This CD's standouts are "Sonero", "Como Cocina La Gorda" and the perennial favorite "La Esencia Del Guaguanco". This is classic '70s tipico-flavored Salsa at its best."
