"The existance of this original recording is a miracle. Most of the Dada and futurist performances of music/poetry were not recorded or the recordings are lost. Kurt Schwitters gave a new meaning to the phonetic poetry invented by Raoul Hausmann when he wrote one of his greatest pieces: "URSONATE". He recorded one of his performances and it's been lost for several decades... but now it has been found again for our pleasure (the lovers of the old avant-garde). UNIQUE... nobody can recite the ursonate better than his author... he does it with accuracy and barbarism at the same time. This is one of the best examples of the dadaist humor and concept of art. Here's an example, the begining of the third movement starts with the singer (in this case Schwitters) reciting this primary sounds: "Lanke trr gll/ pe pe pe pe pe/ ooka ooka ooka ooka" both like a machine and an animal..."
