Trust The Remixes!

""Trust Your Love" is the second hot single from the Asian diva and it definitely lives up to Koda's first single. The six remixes on this single are some of the best remixes that I have ever heard. My favorite lyric in this song is "All I want is be with you", I think its so darling and I think she put the words together like that on purpose.Track Listing:1.) Trust Your Love (Hex Hector Main Club Mix) (8:17) = This remix is dance friendly and our friend Hex Hector didn't let us down with this remix.2.) Trust Your Love (Thunderpuss Club Mix) (7:00) = This remix is somewhat funky at the beginning, but as it progresses it concentrates solely on those Thunderpuss dance beats.3.) Trust Your Love (Hex Hector Main Radio Mix) (3:08) = This track is not like that of track one, it concentrates on dance beats, but the dance beats have been lowered so that you can hear Koda's voice more.4.) Trust Your Love (Thunderpuss Radio Mix) (3:18) = This remix is like that of track 2, except that its a shorter version.5.) Trust Your Love (ThunderpusDub) (7:22) = This remix features no vocals but it is somewhat like that of the other thunderpuss tracks, but it concentrates more on dance beats, this track is off the hook.6.) Trust Your Love (Blackwatch Remix) (7:49) = This remix is somewhat disco with a semi dark feeling to it. This remix would go great on the dance floor, especially with Koda's fast voice. Koda is a great unique artist and I'm look forward to hearing what she has planned for us in the future. For now, trust you instinct and check this track out, because if you don't than you'll be missing out on what everyone else is talking about."
Oh Kumi Koda....Hex and Thunderpuss.....what happened?

"Okay, I hesitantly purchased the new (Kumi) Koda single "Trust Your Love." I had her previous single, "Take Back," and I greeted it with much mixed feeling. Junior Vasquez and Jonathan Peters had no idea what to do with that song. The mixes were weak at best. However, once I got my hands on the vinyl and heard Hex Hector's reworking, I felt redeemed a bit. Hex, as usual, managed to find the meat of a very average song, and fleshed it out to a high energy workout! Naturally, I was hoping for similar results, if not better with Koda's new song "Trust Your Love."
People. save your money! Seriously, unless you are a huge fan of Hex's more disco-y moments (for example, his take on J.Lo's "Feeling So Good," and Marty Thomas' "Resurrect Me" ) then stay far far away from his rendition of this song. It's not that the remix itself is bad, it's just the song is just a plain nightmare. There are key changes that jump out of nowhere, and the lyrics are a mess. Japanese and English back and forth provide a headache for the listener.
Thunderpuss' take a slightly more successful stab at this song. Their club mix (much shorter than ususal at 7 minutes...gone are the mayhem of their 10 minute plus mixes) gives mixed results. As usual, instead of trying to showcase Koda's uneven voice, they go the campy route, and screw around with her voice. (nowhere near as innovative as past pleasures with Mandy Moore, J.Lo, Brooke Allison etc) Giving us a stutter here, or a crazy loop there. It's interesting, yes. But danceable? It would probably clear the floor. (although the build section is inventive...they've done much better!) The Thunderdub is a saving grace.....but in comparison to previous dubs, again....very weak.
The Blackwatch remix is listenable....echoing similar themes to Rauhofer and Stephanie K and Creamer).
My advice...just don't give in to buying this single, even if you are a diehard hex or thunderpuss fan. Try to listen to the mixes first. Hex and Thunderpuss, you guys rock, but be a little more discriminating with your choices. Misia and Ayumi are one thing, but Koda... argh!!!"
Hot Asian dance single!

"This CD Single isn't bad, "Trust Your Love" is a really good and dancy song. The Thunderpuss mixes are the best ones, as you'd expect from those guys (even if Hex Hector's is listed as "Main Mix"), they spin at high BMPs and although we cannot understand a single thing she says (apart from "need your love" and stuff like that) that does not mean we cannot dance to them.
The last mix is very good too, a dark, almost haunting mix.
Hex Hector mixes are not as strong as the others but they're not bad at all."
