Koan is a roaming tiger...

(4 out of 5 stars)

"...or so says the liner notes. Klaus Wiese, Sam Schlamminger, and Ted de Jong play singing bowls, keyboard, dotar, dombak, tabla. There are 65 minutes of music, seven tracks of drones for meditation, although with a hint of a darker tone. Track listing:

1. Manjusri

2. Shirin

3. Tathagata

4. Yellow Mirror

5. Man

6. Sugra

7. Chi

Klaus Wiese is always worth listening to. I give this release four stars just because I prefer my meditation CDs with just a bit less dissonance."
