A-LIST!

"Okay - Like I just said: Please read this, especially if you're just browsing this amazingly cool record store's website. This is going to be brutal and will not win me any respect from other bands, but Iza gotsta preach the gospel now....!~ The state of "todays" music is in total dismay; it sucks. Most bands absolutely stink. It's analogous to living in a neighborhood where everyone drives VW Bugs. Oh, they're cool, some are shiny, sometimes one shows up looking like a dune buggy and everyone goes "oooohh", but they are eternally "Bugs". That's the musical neighborhood we live in in 2004 / '05. Guys with black fingernail polish playing wickedly fast, downstroke-only barre-chords whilst whipping their heads hard enough to herniate a disc to the beat. THEN KING KARMA SHOWS UP. King Karma is the Ferrari that drives into the little Bug neighborhood. Make no mistake: we are living an a musical desert, and hopefully, bands like KK will re-emerge to set the standard again. Raise the bar. Set a precident. We NEED it. Otherwise, all we are in store for is more really bad music. I sincerely hope the CD Baby folks permit this review, because it's the truth. King Karma is just an amazing new band. Fabulous singer, absolute A-List talent. They should be signed yesterday to a serious deal with a U.S record company. Unfortunately, A&R Bozos at U.S. Majors will never get it - all the good ones are gone now, replaced by very young, deaf VW drivers.... Kudos KK - You guys kick ass!

"Even tho these guys are a 'new' band from the South,USA-they play a hearty brand of classic blues-soaked hard rock that brings back memories of Montrose,Led Zep,Robin Trower-hell,ANY great classic blues rock of the 70's!! No idea what the other reviewer here was listening to,cuz this is AWESOME stuff! Christopher-better stay out of the reviewing business, bud. Turning people off to a cd THIS friggin' good is almost a crime! Get this one folks-it ROCKS!!"
